Chiropractor


Duties and responsibilities:
Chiropractors are doctors who help recover and feel less pain of spinal cords. They are doctors that deal with problems that related to bones, muscles, tendons, and more. They meet with clients and help examine factors like sleeping patterns, diet, genetics and exercise to create treatment options for them. Chiropractors have several opportunities for employment. For example they could open up their own little clinic. Some chiropractors keep to the 40- hour work week, while others set hours that are more convenient for them and their client.


Salary: $64,440-$66,160


Education:
In order to become a chiropractor first you must have an undergraduate education. Now they can apply for chiropractic school. According to the council of chiropractic education you must take 15 chiropractic programs. The programs will last about four years. Your courses must include nutrition, public health, physiology, and many more.


Demand for this profession:
This profession has become increasingly important in the healthcare community. It should have a growth rate of 28 percent throughout 2010 and 2020.




Reflection:
I would not like to be a chiropractor because even though it sounds interesting it is not something i would like to do. If i make a wrong move on the patient i could end up hurting them. This is why i would not like to be a chiropractor in my future career.
