The 10 Indian Commandments
  1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect
  2. Remain close to the Great spirit
  3. Show great respect to your fellow beings
  4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind
  5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed
  6. Do what you know to be right
  7. Look after the well-being of mind and body
  8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good
  9. Be truthful and honest at all times
  10. Take full responsibility for your actions

I believe these ten Indian Commandments are something everyone should follow and listen too. Even if you are not Indian it doesn't hurt to at least follow some of them. These are a great example of what people should be doing everyday in their life and receive good karma in return. This is a great example of choosing the right that people should be doing in there day to day basis. For example, commandment number ten, take full responsibility for your actions. You didn't do your homework because you forgot and now you have to stay in detention. You should be responsible of remembering what homework you have and when it is due because then if you don't things like that can happen and you will have to deal with it. Whoever made these commandments should deserve something special because they are amazing for putting all of this together. Remember to always follow these ten Indian Commandments and you'll be a CTR person.

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails."
Henry David Thoreau

This quote means that the amount of goodness you do and invest in will never fail. It will succeed and flourish into something even better. It doesn't matter how much goodness you do, as long as you never choose that wrong. This is really important because it shows that if you want to become greater than all you have to do id good and you will never fail. If you see that you are going downwards and not succeeding that there is something your doing wrong, that's choosing the wrong. You need to fix that and do good to never fail. I agree with Henry David Thoreau because he is telling the truth, if you invest in doing good then you will never fail you will only grow and stay positive. For example you see your sister or brother having trouble studying. You either ignore them and let them struggle or help them out to learn and get a good grade. In order to not fail you choose the right and do good, which is to help your sibling out to study. If you every try doing good it doesn't matter how much you do, it matters if you chose to do it or not. And if you do you will never fail.

“My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make then because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they're right.”
Theodore Hesburgh
(Former President of Notre Dame)

This quote means that the only reason people make decisions is because they are right, it's not because they are popular or cheap, etc. Their decisions are because it's right and that's the good thing to do. You should always choose the right and good karma will come your way. You don't do it just because it's easy and you'll finish faster, that is not the point. The real reason is that it is right and good and people should be able to spread the out about doing good for everyone. For example you think about cheating on a test because it will be easy and know one will notice. That should never be done and it is considered wrong. Then you think about it and you will not do it because it is wrong. You do your own work and keep your eyes on your own paper. Just remember make decisions because they are right.

Reflection:
In my perspective I would not like to be an Optometry Technician or Assistant. It is just something I am not interested in. I don't really have an interest in eyes or do anything with eyeglasses. I would prefer something different that I would actually like to do in my future career.
