      This quote means that if something is right and you believe it is, even though no one's agrees with you, you still make an effort to believing it is right. It also means that if something is wrong and you know it, even though everyone disagrees with you, you know that it is not the right thing to do. For example if you think that it is right to study at least two hours for a test but no one agrees with you because they think it should only be one hour. You still study for two hours because you know it is the right thing to do. Also for example, if you know sneaking out and going to a party late at night without telling your parents is wrong. But then everyone disagrees with you that you should go because you will have fun and it will be a once in a lifetime experience. You don't listen to them and you stay at home because you know that they are choosing the wrong. So even though something is right or wrong always listen to yourself even though every single person disagrees with you.       This quote means that don't give up what you've been wanting for because of something you want right now at the moment. If you have been waiting for something to happen for a long time don't give it up for something that you want now. Stick with want most and write it down so you can remember that you can do it and one day it will happen, so don't give up even if you want something at the moment. For example your teacher has told you guys that you have a test next week. You have been super nervous on what you will get so you have to study. But at the moment you want to watch television instead of what you want to do most which is getting an “A” on the test your teacher told you about. This is why you have to write down everything that you want to do and see it often so you don't forget to keep practicing. Then if you see it at least every day you will get a reminder that you have to do what you've been wanting most not what you want now.

                                                            

Homecoming 2016

Definition:

      Homecoming is an annual tradition in the United States and other countries. People, towns, high schools, and colleges come together, usually in September or October. They welcome back former residents and students. It is usually celebrated in schools, colleges and other places that might mean something very special to the school.

History:

      The history of homecoming first started off with a homecoming football game. It was against Kansas and Missouri. Homecoming football games have been held at colleges and universities since the 19th century.    

Why we celebrate:

      We celebrate homecoming in schools because it shows that students have school spirit and pride. For example first it starts off with a pep rally on the big homecoming game with a dance following up. Then either king and queens are crowned during halftime at the game or during the homecoming dance.

Events:

      If you won’t be able to make it to homecoming don't worry there are plenty of other fun things that relate to homecoming. For example if you don't like football you could go to a baseball, basketball, or any other sports that you like to watch. If you don't like parties you could always just do something with your friends and have fun.

Homecoming Game:

      It is called a “homecoming game” because before you go to the homecoming dance they have a special game for homecoming. It is like a fun activity to go to before the dance. It's not just any regular football.

Etiquette:

      Homecoming etiquette is when students are dressed semi-formal. They don't have to come really fancy and waste a bunch of money on one night.

  

Reflection:

I think homecoming is an amazing idea. It sounds really fun to go to and hopefully I will be able to go this year. It is a way to school spirit and pride for our school and what we do.

      This quotes means that it making a good name for yourself is the best thing you can accomplish in life. By doing this it can lead you to making lots of good opportunities in the future. It is the top most important thing you have to do in life, making a good name for yourself. What coach K means by a "good name" is that when ever someone hears, sees, or remembers you name they think of someone that is good and always chooses the right. For example you always score a high grade in your math tests and you are always well behaved in class. Whenever your teacher, professor, or principal hears your name somewhere they are automatically going to think of you and what a good student or person you are. If you don't really care about anything or you don't do your homework and behave really bad in class, you're setting a bad example for people. With that said whenever they hear, see, or remember your name they will think of a really bad disrespectful person. No one wants someone to think about you to that. This is why you always do good and never bad because when someone hears, sees, or remembers your name it should always be good.

Africa:

      There are many good careers in Africa and here are a few of them. They is a agriculture, mining, banking and financing, entertainment, tourism and many more. These are all good careers because some of these might not be a choice to do in the future in some other countries.

Mexico:

      One other country with different careers is Mexico. For example they have careers like an actor, director, and developing manager. These are all good jobs because they seem very interesting. Also because they might not have these kinds of jobs where you live in today.

Russia:

    There is also a country which is Russia and it includes many different types careers. There is a salesperson, american native speaker, English online teacher, and many more. All of these jobs are good in this country because there is also many more out there that I have not even thought about.

Reflection:

     Yes I Would like to work in a different country. I would like to work in Mexico because it just seems like a nice place to go and visit. Also because they have lots of interesting and fun jobs out there that i have not even know of. I also want to go and work there because it is just a different kind of environment I would like to see and explore and try something different.

       This quotes means that if you choose to be good then people will know your name and who you are then remember you as good rather than knowing you for other unimportant things. If you always do good in life then people will start to remember you and when ever they think of your name they think of good. For example you always do your homework, choose the right, and be kind. Then one day your friend sees a billboard with a persons name just like your they are going to think of you automatically because you are always good. You don't want your name to be known as a bad influence because every time they see or hear your name it will not be a good reminder. 

                                                          

Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities:

Health educators create programs that encourage health and wellness. They also help with any health problems such as patients diabetes. Some health inspectors that work in medical facilities give treatment information to the patient. They also teach how to make good decisions, be active, and avoid harmful behaviors. They work in different places such as a health clinic, schools, colleges, hospitals or community centers.

Education:

To be a health inspector you need a minimum of a bachelor's degree. In some cases they might require a master's degree for an employment of the state or federal public health agencies.

   

Demand for this profession:

The demand to be a health inspector is high. It is expected to rise 19% in the year of 2022 alone. This will be a very interesting career for many people later on in life.

Reflection:

I would like to be a health educator because it seems really interesting to me. I think it would be a feun career to do in the future. I would want to educate adults and children about health and everything.

Healthcare administers manage the business of health care. They help with the patient's concerns and ensuring that they have the right  services. If any patient has a problem they are the ones to help them with it if it includes anything with their health care. They usually work in many different places. For example like in a hospital, nursing home, group medical practice. They also spend a lot of time outside speaking to people about the environmental health care services that are going on. They also manage issues of specific departments.

Education:

To be a healthcare administrator you need at least a bachelor's degree. It is sufficient for employment smaller facilities.

Demand for this profession:

The demand for this profession is a little low. It is expected to grow 17% from the years of 2014-2024. It will be quite an interesting job for most people in the world that are interested in the healthcare profession.

Reflection:

I would not like to be a healthcare administer because it doesn't sound really interesting to me. That career just doesn’t seem very appealing to be. I am interested in jobs I would actually like to do in my future career. I would prefer something fun to do and I would actually enjoy.

       This quote means that if your friends or someone else is making you do something that is not right then you be the one to stand up and make a change about it. You should not let anyone influence you to do the wrong thing. This is why you have to stand up and make a change about it. Even if you are alone, it doesn't matter because in the end you know you choose the right.  For example if your in the middle of a huge test and all of a sudden your friend or classmate asks for the answer you have to say no. You have to stand up and either tell the teacher of professor because you  know that was not right. Duties and responsibilities:

A photographer is a person that take pictures of numerous things. They have to adjust the lighting, focus the camera, and do many things to get the photo just right. They also create artificial lighting and use flashes and reflections. Only if the setting is too dark or not the right amount of light need to come out in the camera. For the actual printed out picture they have to go through a bunch of different steps but they may vary depending on what specific type of picture quality the want. They might use a certain chemical, touch up tools, and developing and printing equipment. They also take time to set up camera equipment to make sure it is in the perfect possession for the picture.

Education:

The education needed to become a photographer is to have a bachelor's degree.If you get a bachelor's degree of arts in photography it provides you with more options of an advanced placement. It provides you with arts, business, marketing, and other courses.

Reflection:

I would like to be a photographer because it seems really interesting to me. I would like to take many beautiful picture of the world and share it with people. Also because I like to take a lot of picture out in the nature because it seems very pretty to me. I think I would really have fun being a photographer because I would be doing something that I really like to do in my future career.

They chose the wrong and now they have become in a person that nobody can trust. This is why you always have to listen to the good people and learn from all the great achievements that they have done in their live. Duties and responsibilities:

Environmental Health Specialists makes sure that the health and safety conditions in residential, commercial, and other place are good and clean for people. A person that works in this profession may also be know as a health or safety inspector. They work in a very wide range of settings. They might work in houses, offices, or schools. Most environmental safety specialist work for the government. They help inspect plants and factories for pollution, check restaurants for cleanness, schools, and many more. Some specialist may also collect samples of soil, air, and water. Then they test it to find out if it is hazardous to people or not.

Education:

To be an environmental health inspector you are required to have at last a bachelor's degree. They need work in chemistry, biology, public health, and many others you can choose from. Those who want to work for the government have to complete a certification course administered by the local, state, or federal agency.

Reflection:

I would not like to be an environmental health inspector because I do not want to go inspect and check places that might have hazardous chemicals that can kill us. Also because it just doesn't seem interesting to me and i would like to look at more interesting and fun careers i would like to do.

       This quote means that if you set for a specific goal you will get the goal. As long as you set your mind to it you know that your going to get it one way or another. Even if you already succeeded at getting you planned goals always remember to set another to to achieve at your fullest. For example if you set a goal for getting a A on that test then you have to study and study to get that special grade. Another example of this when you want to buy those new shoes at the store but you do not have enough money. So that is when it is time to set a goal to work really hard to make money and getting what you want. Once you have gotten enough money you can go and buy your new shoes. Finally you feel good that you have gotten you goals in buying those shoes. This quote is very inspiring because it is telling you to set your goal before you go over board and stressing out because you can't get that specific goal you have in mind.  

                                                         

Columbus Day

      Columbus day is on Monday, October 10. Columbus Day first become an official state holiday on 1906. Then later on in 1937 President Franklin D.Roosevelt proclaimed Columbus Day as a national holiday. Even though the first celebration took place in 1792. This is an important day because it was the day that Christopher Columbus arrived and discovered the American continent. The landing is celebrated as “Columbus Day” in the United States. It is called differently in many other states like Spain and Belize for example. This holiday has been celebrated unofficially since the 18th century and officially in the early 20th century.

Reflection:

      My thoughts about this day is very important to me. It celebrates when Christopher Columbus found this great continent of ours that some of us are living in right now. I feel very inspired about this day because it shows that when you travel you can find amazing new things that you didn't even know existed. Many great things can come out of discovering new things just like it did to Christopher when he found the American continent. Now they made a special day for him called “Columbus Day” just because he went to travel and found something new.
