“Enthusiasm makes the difference.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

This quote means that in whatever you are doing always have enthusiasm because it makes things even more fun. Even though you're doing homework or studying you always have to have enthusiasm and great avid to make a difference. If you are sad or mad, forget about that and have a great time by being enthusiastic and fun. Showing enthusiasm means that you are always happy and full of energy. Once little smile can change everything, It will make you and everyone else in a good mood. This quote is important because it shows that even the slightest change of enthusiasm can make a big difference. For example if you have a 5 page essay due the following day you might as well but some joy and fun into it. You could take 10 minutes breaks every hour and do something you like. For example walking around the neighborhood or playing with your pet. Do whatever makes you happy as long as you show enthusiasm. This is so marvelous because by having enthusiasm you can brighten up anyone's day. Enthusiasm is the key to being happy even if it's just the slightest difference.

“I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right.”
Dean Smith

This quote means that you don't have to become famous in order to do whats right. You just choose the right and see where life takes you. For Dean Smith it took him on an incredible adventure through basketball. He was doing what he loved and it brought him to this. Even though he was only trying to do the right it become something much more than that in his career. This is very important because it shows that if you choose the right it can lead to to an awesome life. Even though he wasn't trying to leave a legacy he still did because of all his hard work he put into his job to succeed. For example if you join basketball just because you think it is cool and everyone will know your name that is not what it's all about. It's about doing what you love and doing what right because that's how you become successful. Just like Dean Smith he choose the right and it lead him to an amazing life he didn't expect. That what doing the right is all about, you do it and you succeed. Always remember to choose the right because you never know where it's going to take you just like Dean Smith. He didn't want to become a legacy but he still did because he did what was right.

“It's not about how to achieve your dreams. It's about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the RIGHT WAY, the karma (good results, destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you.
Dr. Randy Pausch

This quote means that it's all about leading your life and your journey ahead of you. If you lead it the right way and the right path everything will slowly come together and all the good things will come towards you and your dreams will come true. It's not about how you achieve your dreams because if you lead your life the right why the you dreams are sure to come true with all the good fortune. This is really important because it all depends on how you lead it and where you lead your life. For example if you lead your life the right way, always doing your homework, chores, no drugs, or smoking then you are surely to become lucky in making your dreams come true. Then if you have a new dream just follow the same steps i the right ways and you are sure enough to make it come true. But what will happen if you don't lead your life the right way and you start choosing the wrong. Then you will not have good luck or fortune and your dreams will never be able to come true. That is unless you choose the right and you go into the right direction then everything will come together like it show of in the first place.

“Make your passion your profession”

Many people have different passion for different things. My passion is to succeed in school especially in the subject of health. This patient can become my profession because I could become a doctor or a nurse one day and become very successful in life. The education that is required for this is that you need to earn a bachelor's degree which is four years. After that happens you need to take the medical college admission test also known as an MCAT. Once you pass that, you need to complete medical school which is another four years. Next is that you need to get your license and complete a residency. Overall there are lots of steps to become a doctor but as long as you believe it is possible you could do anything you but your mind into. Some skills, talents, and attitudes that are required to be a doctor is not must. Maybe to have skills in other jobs that relate to a doctor or nurse. For example like volunteering in hospitals and clinics.
Reflection:

To make my passion a profession I am willing to do anything it takes to become a doctor because that is what I want to do in the future. It doesn't matter the amount of money or time it takes it just matters that one day you accomplish your goals. Hopefully that will happen one day to everyone and will succeed in life.

“Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the BODY, the MIND, and above all the CHARACTER, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation”
Theodore Roosevelt

This quote means that no matter what work you might be doing the one that matters most is the education that you are giving to your body, mind, and most of all your character. Education is really important but the one that matters most is that one. This is really important because it tells you that the greatest of all education is the one of the body, mind, and spirit. For example you go to school to be educated and learn but you can do that unless you educated your body, mind, and spirit first which is most important. You have to relax, get in shape, get prepared, and most of all be ready for what life throws at you because you never know when bad things are going to happen so you have to be prepared. By doing that you have to give spiritual and moral training to to those who in a few year will lead this nation and of course someone has to teach the importance of education the body, mind, and spirit. In conclusion I believe everyone should follow this and become greater and better one day.

“Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
Mr. C. S. Haymore

This quote means that you should be the only person that is responsible for your own body, mind, and spirit. This should be for your own good physical, mental, and spirit. This quote is really important because it shows that you should always choose the right and make should your always doing good. You must do things yourself to have a bright and health future in your life. You shouldn't be counting or relying on other to help you out you need to learn for yourself and do things right. For example you're having problems in your math class and your grade is really low but you have no idea what to do. This is where you have to set some goals for yourself and make sure you understand and bring up that grade. This is because in the future you're not going to have helpful people guide your way and do everything for you. This is why you have to get moving and learn to get where you want to be in life. “Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.”
Martin Luther King Jr.

This quote means that if you only have intelligence that is good, but not good enough. If you only have character that is also not good enough. The true goal of education is to have both of them, intelligence and character. Together they are going to help you find true education and you will succeed in life. This is important because with only one of these or without any, you would be completely lost. This is why you need to have both of them working together to really find the true goal of education. For example it is like playing basketball with only one hand, you can't play properly because you need two hands. It's the same thing with intelligence and education you can't function properly without one of because you need to have both.

“We need to START and CONTINUE what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn’t do”
Richard L. Evans

This quote means that we need to start and continue to encourage on what we should be doing. On what is the right thing to do and show people CTR. We also need to stop whatever we know we shouldn't do and whatever isn't right should be stopped. This is really important because it shows that we need to start paying attention to the things around us and help out. For example we should do more volunteer work to help out the people in need. Also to help feed and take care of the homeless that need food, protection, and shelter. If we see anything that might need help even if it is the most easiest thing we should still help out because you know that is is the right thing.

School Break Days

During the three weeks of break that we had I did many things. For example my cousin came here for vacation to spend time with us so we decided to make some fun plans with her to enjoy and see all the different things here. We tried doing as much as we can also because she hasn't been here since over 5 years. Then my family members joined together on Christmas Eve to eat and open presents. We had a very fun time talking and spending time with each other and a very special day. During the days that my cousin was here we went to some museums to explore and see what they had. We also went shopping to get some new clothes for this cold winter time. There were also some new movies out in theatres so we decided to see, Moana. On the last day that my cousin was here to visit we went ice skating and we had so much fun but unfortunately she had to leave the next day. A few days after we got the season pass to go to Knott’s Berry Farm and we got on some rides and roller coaster with my family.
