       This quote means that if your friends or someone else is making you do something that is not right then you be the one to stand up and make a change about it. You should not let anyone influence you to do the wrong thing. This is why you have to stand up and make a change about it. Even if you are alone, it doesn't matter because in the end you know you choose the right.  For example if your in the middle of a huge test and all of a sudden your friend or classmate asks for the answer you have to say no. You have to stand up and either tell the teacher of professor because you  know that was not right. Then if that friend or classmate gets mad for telling on them it doesn't matter because you know you chose the right and stood up for what you believed in.
