       This quote means that whatever decision you do right now will affect your whole life. You have to choose carefully because then everything will change for the worse or better. If you choose the right everything will change for the better of things. Unless you choose the wrong Everything will also change but in a bad way. You would always think before you make decisions because they matter. Every single little thing that you do will change for all eternity. Even the slightest little move you make right now whether it is good or bad will change for eternity. For example if you go with your friends and decide to spray paint your neighborhood you will be know as the person that destroyed the place. Now everyone will think of you badly and will affect your friendship with people in your community. In other words if you choose not to go with your are doing the right thing.
