Presidents Day

  • What is Presidents Day?
              In 1885 in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States. The day is a state holiday in most states, it has different names including Washington's Birthday. It is traditionally celebrated on February 22 Washington's actual day of birth. Several states have individual holidays honoring different presidents. Presidents day is now viewed as a day to celebrate all the U.S president.

                 Some other interest pertaining to presidents day is that on that particular day some people also celebrate Abraham Lincoln's birthday as well. Someone also has made a movie called Presidents Day.
